Donate

Your donation helps us achieve our goals.

Please note that our in-kind, used donation process has changed. We still gladly accept monetary donations and new items, however we will no longer be able to accept unplanned donations of used items as we are unable to store a lot of what we receive.

If you have gently used items that you would like to donate, please get in touch with us by sending an email to donate@ywcaprincealbert.ca or calling 306-953-4720. The types of used items we are currently accepting are listed below.

If we are not currently accepting the used items you wish to donate, please consider another organization such as the Prince Albert Safe Shelter for Women, Diabetes Canada donation bins, Community Living Bins, The Salvation Army, or Value Village.

  • Your donation makes a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community. Monetary donations go toward our programming, enabling us to provide the best possible assistance to those we serve.

All monetary donations $10 and over receive our thanks, along with a tax receipt. Receipts are issued promptly after the donation is received and mailed directly to you. If you donate monthly, you will receive your receipt in January.

  • Your donation makes a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Since capital gains taxes don't apply, our charity receives the full, fair market value when the security is sold, and you get a tax receipt which reflects your larger contribution. This allows you to give more and get more.
